Welcome to Studio Notes!
Some artists keep sketchbooks.
I apparently keep paragraphs.
This is where I write about painting, creative projects, homeschooling, animals, flowers, adventures, and whatever strange thought wandered into my head while waiting for paint to dry.
It’s less “expert advice.”
More “come sit at my art desk (if you can find room) while I overthink every choice I have ever made.
I update this page once a month on the 15th.
Could I schedule posts every week?
Probably.
Would that require me to have my life together?
Also probably.
Instead, I spend a month collecting stories, paintings, tutorials, successes, failures, and the occasional completely unnecessary tangent, then I release them all at once like a flock of startled chickens.
Thanks for reading.
I’m glad you’re here.
Just a Reminder…
A gentle reminder that your worth isn’t measured by your productivity, your follower count, or someone els’e opinion. Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is give yourself the same grace you offer to everyone else.
The Art Supplies I Actually Use: My Amazon Favorites & Things I Actually Love
No gatekeeping here. These are the art supplies you’ll actually find on my desk, paint stains included. From the brushes I reach for everyday to the paper that survives questionab;e amounts of water, this is the collection I use to create pet portraits, wildflowers, and all the colorful chaos in between.
